Předběžná náplň práce

Magisterská diplomová práce Právo a ochrana lidských práv v komunikaci Evropské unie jako aktéra mezinárodní bezpečnosti se bude zabývat rolí Evropské unie ve vytváření bezpečnostněprávních norem a prosazování lidských práv v nich zakotvených a komunikací těchto procesů v rámci snah Evropské unie o posílení svého vlivu jako relevantního aktéra mezinárodní bezpečnosti v kontextu současných mezinárodně-bezpečnostních hrozeb.
Práce se v první řadě zaměří na pozici Evropské unie k ochraně lidských práv při utváření práva regulujícího oblast mezinárodních bezpečnostních hrozeb, a to jak norem mezinárodních, tak evropských. Důraz bude kladen i na vztah Evropské unie k bezpečnostněprávním regulacím členských zemí.
Další zkoumanou oblastí bude na jedné straně role, jakou Evropská unie hraje při prosazování těchto norem a na straně druhé komunikace této pozice směrem jak dovnitř, tedy občanům Evropské unie, tak i vně, tedy dalším aktérům mezinárodní bezpečnosti. V této oblasti se práce zaměří na analýzu jednotlivých politik Evropské unie v oblastech prosazování práva lidských práv v mezinárodní bezpečnosti, zejména rolí Evropské unie v boji proti globálnímu terorismu po roce 2001.

Předběžná náplň práce v anglickém jazyce

Master thesis Law and Protection of Human Rights in Communication of the EU as of the Actor of International Security deals with the role of the European Union in creation of norms of international security law and in enforcement of human rights embedded in these norms and with communication of these processes in the framework of EU aspirations to strengthen its position as of an relevant actor of international security in the context of contemporary international security threats.
The thesis will first fosus on the position of the European Union towards human rights protection during legislation regulating the field of international security threats, by both international and European norms. The thesis will emphesize the relationship between the EU and regulations of the Member States.
Next, the tesis will inquire, on the one hand, a role which the EU plays in the process of enforcement of the norms and, on the other hand, communication of that position to both inside and outside the EU. In this part, the thesis will focus on an analysis of EU policies in the field of law on human rights within international security, especially the role of the EU in combating global terrorism after 2001.
