Main goal of the thesis is to implement a representation and a rendering engine of animated 3D models. The project will be divided into two parts. First part will be a library of C++ classes, these classes will implement the main functionality of the thesis - an animation engine. The engine will be designed to provide completely transparent representation of models, thus the user will have full access to every part of a model geometry and animation. Second part will be a graphical editor - it will allow users to import, edit and export animated 3D models. The editor will support rendering of animations, editing them and creating new ones. Thesis will be implemented for Microsoft Windows operating systems (Windows XP and newer). |
