Zásady pro vypracování |
Volume data fusions are very important in contemporary medicine. The thesis will focus on simple 3D data registration (Rigid-body transform will be sufficient) followed by various rendering techniques able to visualize multi-modal or time-dependent information in one 3D space.
Three variants of 3D fusion should be considered: CT+NMR (same time, multi-modal information), NMR+NMR (same time, different NMR settings) or simple mono-modal time series (NMR or CT images of the same patient acquired during certain time interval). Several visualization methods should be proposed and examined. Recommendations: all experiments could be realized in MedV4D framework, 3D registration could be restricted to rigid-body transform and mutual information metrics. All proposed approaches and algorithms should be well documented in the thesis, experimental MedV4D application should be documented as well. Experimental data will be provided by the thesis supervisor in DICOM format. |
