Předběžná náplň práce v anglickém jazyce
1. Statement of the problem
In China, there were 12.63 million people with a visual disability by the end of 2010. This figure accounted for nearly 1% of its population (China Disabled Persons’ Federation, 2012).
However, it is difficult to meet this group in life. Where do they usually go, what is their daily life like, and do the existing national measures for the visually impaired help them in traveling and living? What causes them to rarely take public transportation or interact with other people? And what can we, as people without visual impairments, do to help them on a regular basis?

2. Merit of studying the problem
China has the largest number of visually impaired people in the world. But they rarely have a chance to voice their needs, and we don't really know much about them. In my hometown of Changsha, I seldom see visually impaired people going out, let alone know how their daily life goes with the inconvenience of going out. I think it is very important to know how they usually travel, what are the reasons that cause obstacles for them to travel, and what are their views, suggestions and needs for the visually impaired to travel, which is very important for the harmony and stability of the society, as well as the realization of the concept of equality for all.
