Předběžná náplň práce v anglickém jazyce
In my bachelor thesis, I am going to explore the philosophical concept of fascist virtue according to Mussolini and its previous variants – namely Aristotles' and Machiavelli's notion, virtue in christianity and in ancient Rome – comparing them between each other and trying to find a correlation with the fascist notion. The goal of this thesis is to conclude which ideology played the biggest role in creating the concept of fascist virtue and in which aspect, assuming it is truly possible to find one that matches this ideology best. My thesis is therefore going to be partially interpretive, analytical and comparative, with the goal of further elaborating and explaining the notion of virtue in fascism.

In my thesis, I aim to present new ideas on what the concepts of a New Man and fascist virtue stem from. For this purpose, I am going to work mostly with secondary literature based on the named authors' most famous work (i.e. Summa Theologica, The Prince – concrete literature examples can be found in the respective chapters in this paper), as analyzing their philosophy in depth would be a deviation from the principal research topic. However, I am partially going to be interpreting certain parts of their work myself, as I am going to propose my own ideas based on my analysis of these works and the already existing notions. My thesis is therefore naturally going to be supported by existing literature instead of primary data and relying on already existing conclusions. Nevertheless, I am going to correlate the existing literature to a concept that hasn't been explored before in this context leading to a new conclusion.
