Předběžná náplň práce

Struktura a obsah Diplomové práce se od jejího vzniku částečně změnila, ačkoliv základní výzkumná otázka přetrvala ve stejném znění. V současné podobě je práce strukturována více teoreticky a méně historiograficky. Hlavní část práce se bude zabývat ideologickými proudy v rámci rané marxistické ideologie, které konfrontuji s praxí jejich realizace v případě Baku Komuny (a v menší míře s dalšími komunistickými experimenty na sovětské periferii). Aktualizovaná Diplomová práce má následující strukturu:

Teoretická část
- Klasický marxismus a jeho vztah k nacionalismu
- Marxismus-leninismus a konkurenční proudy (Bauer, Luxemburgová) a jejich vzájemné rozdíly ve snaze smířit marxistickou ideologii s nacionalismem

Praktická část
- Politický a sociální mapa Bakuské Komuny a důvody jejího pádu
- Shaumyanova osobní ideologie a její projekce do vedení Bakuské Komuny

Kritická část
- Kritické posouzení a zhodnocení
- Alternativní sovětské pokusy o obdobné komunální formy vlády (Gurijská republika)

Předběžná náplň práce v anglickém jazyce

The structure and content of the Thesis has gradually changed since its conception, although the core intention remains unchallenged. Currently, the Thesis is structured more theoretically and less historiographically. The body of the thesis will be concerned with ideological currents within early Marxist ideology, which I confront with their implementation practices in the case of the Baku Commune (and to a lesser extent other communist experiments in the Soviet periphery). The updated Thesis operates under the following structure:

Theoretical part
- Classical Marxism and its relation to nationalism
- Marxism-Leninism and competing currents (Bauer, Luxemburg) and differences in the attempt to reconcile Marxist ideology with nationalism

Practical part
- The political and social description of the Baku Commune and its collapse
- Shaumyan's personal ideology and its projection into the leadership of the Baku Commune

Critical part
- Critical assessment and evaluation
- Alternative Soviet attempts at governance (The Gurian republic)
