Předběžná náplň práce v anglickém jazyce

This thesis deals with a Netflix series adaptation of book series written by Julia Quinn called Bridgerton set in the early nineteenth century. It’s main focus is on the difference between historical facts about regency era and their representation in the series. The theoretical part is dedicated to male and female position in the society in early nineteenth century and analyses social movements that contributed to changing the pop culture.The practical part analyses how the facts are changed in the series. The aim of this thesis is to find the factors that affected the choices of certain changes in order to create a popular motion picture that would appeal to modern society.
