The research population consisted of 26 participants. The research itself was more quantitative and the data was statistically processed and subsequently verified in the established hypotheses. The results showed that the level of memory measured by the Rivermead behavioal memory test in patients with acquired brain injury after completing the 4-week intensive program was higher than at the beginning. The result also showed that the cognitively focused program DS KRL 1.LF UK and VFN is feasible from the as to of its structure and content from the perspective of the occupational therapists participate in it. The work also points out the diffences between subjective and objective memory evaluation. The resulting findings may be of benefit to occupational therapists involved in rehabilitation cognitive function and possibilities to create another similar cognitive program in the Czech Republic.
