Quantitative structure-activity relationship (QSAR) computational methods allow us to examine the relationship between the chemical structure of molecules and their chemical or biological properties. For QSAR calculations, widely used machine learning methods such as decision trees, k-th nearest neighbour or neural networks can be used. The aim of this work is to design a suitable set of chemical molecular descriptors for small organic molecules and to test with these descriptors various machine learning algorithms for predicting molecular properties, such as toxicity.
