Zdrojem vstupních dat bude knihovna retenčních indexů NIST a experimentálně naměřená data. Po samotném rozšíření bude diplomová práce detailně analyzovat možnosti praktického využití tohoto modelu pro identifikaci sloučenin v necílené GC-MS analýze reálných vzorků piv a chmelů.

DeepReI is an artificial intelligence predicting the retention of substances in gas chromatography, in the form of retention indices (https://doi.org/10.1016/j.aca.2020.12.043), based on their chemical structure. Information on the retention of analytes can be used in conjunction with spectral data to identify analytes, which is especially important in the case of unknown substances (eg in non-targeted analyzes), where retention cannot be compared experimentally with standard substances. The current model is adapted only for semi-standard non-polar stationary phases (5% -phenyl-dimethylpolysiloxane), therefore the diploma thesis will extend and evaluate the DeepReI model for polar (polyethylene glycol) and non-polar (dimethylpolysiloxane) stationary phases. The source of input data will be the NIST retention index library and experimentally measured data. After the extension itself, the thesis will analyze in detail the possibilities of practical use of this model for the identification of compounds in non-targeted GC-MS analysis of real samples of beers and hops.
