The work will focus on the position of members of the German political and administrative elites in Bohemia and Transylvania in the years 1867-1926, i.e. during the period of the Habsburg monarchy and in the first years after the creation of the successor states. It will monitor specifics in the composition and demographic behavior of the population group that represented a national/linguistic minority in the investigated territories.
