K vyhodnocení populačních dat budou použity Integral Projection Models a k vyhodnocení vegetačních dat bude použita CCA.

This diploma thesis will be studying population dynamics of endangered species Silene acaulis in Slovakia. Silene acaulis is a species of extreme alpine habitats acting also as a facilitator of establishment of other species in the alpine communities. It is creating cushions providing a microclimate and making it easier to distinguish each individual. It is thus a perfect model species to study the impact on population dynamics. The findings can help in understanding future behavior of the species and whole alpine ecosystems. Population data have been collected since 2013 in two valleys of The High Tatras, providing a database suitable to study the effects on species performance. Data collection includes marking, measuring, recording of flowering, gender and vegetation composition within the cushion and in its close proximity. Integral Projection Models will be used to evaluate the population data and CCA will be used to analyse the vegetation data.
