Zásady pro vypracování

Cílem práce bylo detekovat, vybrat a zkoumat klasické židovské texty, které se věnují (nebo jinak významně souvisí) s tématem zničení Jeruzalémského chrámu.
Na základě zkoumání těchto textů stanovit jednotlivá témata s důrazem na ta, které se opakují ve více zdrojích.
Vzhledem k různorodosti jednotlivých skupin textů je zkoumán vztah jejich druhu (charakteru, datace, žánru, zaměření, účelu apod.) ke zkoumanému tématu, jejich uchopení
a zpracování tématu. A stejně tak jejich frekvence a rozsah.
Sledujeme, jak se liší zpracování tématu v převážně halachických dílech oproti agadickým, stejně tak jako v nejstarších dílech ve srovnání s těmi pozdějšími (jak se rabínská literatura v čase řady století vyvíjela).
A jak se liší zpracování v dílech zaměřených více či méně historicky (je třeba mít na paměti specifičnost židovské historiografie raného období).
