Zásady pro vypracování

The basic idea of crowdsourcing is to exploit collective intelligence of the public to complete not difficult but demanding and time-consuming tasks mainly using user-friendly and interesting tools or operations that the users do anyway. The aim of the thesis is a research on possibilities and limitations of crowdsourcing for the purpose of performing classical operations with knowledge bases (e.g. taxonomies, ontologies etc.) such as generating, cleaning, extending or mapping.
The author will first study and describe basic strategies of crowdsourcing in general and then with regard to knowledge graphs. Next, (s)he will propose an approach suitable for particular problem domain such as legislative data, environmental reports etc. Implementation and experimental evaluation of the approach will be a part of the thesis as well.
