Předběžná náplň práce

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá dopadem světové finanční krize na britské ozbrojené síly v letech 2008 až 2010 na příkladu Královského námořnictva a britských jednotek nasazených v Afghánistánu. Cílem práce je nalézt odpověď na otázky: jaký měla světová finanční krize vliv na britské ozbrojené síly, a především, lišila se úsporná opatření, dotýkající se britských jednotek nasazených v Afghánistánu a Královského námořnictva, zejména ze strategických nebo ekonomických motivů?
Práce popisuje klíčové strategické obranné dokumenty, které nová britská koaliční vláda představila v roce 2010 – Národní bezpečnostní strategii a Strategickou obrannou a bezpečnostní revizi. Práce se zaměřuje na změny, které z těchto dokumentů rezultovaly pro britskou armádu, na příkladu Královského námořnictva a britských jednotek nasazených v Afghánistánu, jakožto dvou složek britských ozbrojených sil na které tato opatření měla zcela odlišný dopad.

Předběžná náplň práce v anglickém jazyce

This thesis deals with the impact of the global financial crisis on the British Armed Forces between 2008 and 2010 on the example of the Royal Navy and British troops deployed in Afghanistan. The aim of the thesis is to answer the questions: what was the impact of the global financial crisis on the British Armed Forces, and above all, did the austerity measures, affecting British troops deployed in Afghanistan and the Royal Navy, differ particularly for strategic or economic motives?
The thesis describes the key strategic defence documents that were introduced by the new British coalition government in 2010 – National Security Strategy and Strategic Defence and Security Review. The thesis focuses on the changes that resulted from these documents for the British Army on the example of the Royal Navy and British troops deployed in Afghanistan, as the two components of the British Armed Forces on which these measures had a completely different impact.
