Charakteristika
Posláním doktorského studia v oboru Praktická a ekumenická teologie a teologická etika je způsobem obvyklým v pokročilých studiích kultivovat u studentů jejich schopnost teologického myšlení a na expertní úroveň prohloubit jejich poznání teologické tradice v jejím ekumenickém, praktickém a eticko teologickém rozměru. Poznatky i postupy svého oboru se studenti učí kriticky analyzovat, reflektovat a vykládat je jak v jejich vlastních specifických kontextech, tak v interdisciplinárních souvislostech současného vědního poznání. Podle zaměření disertačního projektu je studium soustředěno na příslušnou specializaci v oblasti ekumenické či praktické teologie (např. homiletiku, katechetiku, liturgiku, poimeniku, praktickou eklesiologii, hymnologii či misiologii), nebo teologickou etiku či křesťanskou sociální praxi (diakoniku). Současně ovšem toto studium zachovává příslušnou šíři záběru a interdisciplinární orientaci, jež je vlastní všem dílčím teologickým oborům.
Profil absolventa
Absolvent má komplexní znalosti teologie, které jsou založeny na současném stavu poznání. Podle zaměření svého disertačního projektu má expertní znalosti, dovednosti a kompetence v oblasti praktické teologie, ekumenické teologie či teologické etiky. Rozumí ekumenickému rozměru křesťanské tradice a orientuje se v jejích pluralitních projevech. Zná dějiny svého oboru, reflektuje jeho metodologickou problematiku a rozumí jeho současným trendům.
Je schopen přesného teologického myšlení, dokáže pojednat i vysoce komplexní a kontroverzní otázky. Umí zpracovat fundovaný rozbor teologické problematiky a svůj nález srozumitelně vyložit v interdisciplinárních souvislostech. Je schopen prezentovat výsledky své vědecké práce na mezinárodní úrovni.
Charakteristika
The purpose of doctoral studies in the field of Practical and Ecumenical Theology and Theological Ethics is for students to cultivate, in the usual way for advanced studies, their ability to think theologically and to deepen their knowledge of the theological tradition in its ecumenical, practical, and ethical dimensions on an expert level. Students learn to critically analyse and reflect on the knowledge acquired and methods used in their field, and to interpret them both in their own specific contexts and in the interdisciplinary settings of contemporary scholarly knowledge. Depending on the subject of their dissertation project, their studies are focused on the relevant specialisation in the field of ecumenical or practical theology (for example, homiletics, catechetics, poimenics, practical ecclesiology, hymnology, or missiology), or on theological ethics or Christian social work (diaconia). At the same time, however, they retain the appropriate breadth of vision and interdisciplinary orientation that pertains to all branches of theology.

Graduates have a thorough knowledge of theology based on the current state of knowledge. Depending on the subject of their dissertation project, they have expert knowledge, skills, and competence in the field of practical theology, ecumenical theology, or theological ethics. They understand the ecumenical dimension of the Christian tradition and are well versed in its pluralistic forms. They are familiar with the history of their discipline, are able to reflect on the methodological issues relating to it, and understand its current trends.
They are capable of exact theological thinking, and of discussing even highly complex and controversial questions. They know how to draw up a well-grounded analysis of theological issues and to explain their findings comprehensibly in interdisciplinary settings. They are capable of presenting the results of their scholarly work on an international level.
Charakteristika
Das Ziel einer Promotion im Fach Praktische und Ökumenische Theologie und theologische Ethik ist es, im Rahmen eines fortgeschrittenen Studiums, Fähigkeiten zum theologischen Denken zu kultivieren und Kenntnisse theologischer Traditionen in ihrem ökumenischen, praktischen und theologisch-ethischen Umfang auf Expertenebene zu vertiefen. Die StudentInnen sollen lernen, die Erkenntnisse und Verfahrensweisen ihrer Disziplin sowohl in ihrem spezifischen Kontext als auch im Zusammenhang heutiger wissenschaftlicher Erkenntnisse kritisch zu reflektieren und auszulegen. Je nach Schwerpunkt des Dissertationsprojekts zielt das Promotionsstudium jeweils auf eine Spezialisierung im Fach Ökumenische Theologie oder Praktische Theologie (z.B. Homiletik, Katechetik, Liturgik, Poimenik, praktische Ekklesiologie, Hymnologie oder Missiologie), theologische Ethik oder christliche soziale Praxis (Diakonik) ab. Gleichzeitig soll aber eine entsprechend breite Perspektive und eine interdisziplinäre Orientierung bewahrt werden, die allen Teildisziplinen der Theologie zueigen ist.
Profil absolventa
Der/die Absolvent/in verfügt über weitereichende, auf dem heutigen Forschungsstand basierende Kenntnisse der Theologie. Je nach Schwerpunkt des Dissertationsprojekts, verfügt er/sie Expertenkenntnisse, -fertigkeiten und -kompetenzen im Fach Praktische Theologie, Ökumenische Theologie oder Theologische Ethik. Er/sie weiß um die ökumenische Dimension der christlichen Tradition und weiß sich in deren mannigfaltigen Ausdrucksformen zurechtzufinden. Er/sie kennt die Geschichte seiner/ihrer Disziplin, er/sie ist dazu in der Lage, methodologische Problemstellungen dieser Disziplin zu reflektieren und ist mit den heutigen Forschungsschwerpunkten vertraut. Er/sie ist eines präzisen theologischen Denkens fähig und schafft es, sich auch mit komplexen und kontroversen Fragen auseinanderzusetzen. Er/sie ist imstande religiöse Texte zu analysieren, sie fachlich auszulegen, sie im gegebenen Kontext zu interpretieren, eine fundierte theologische Problemanalyse auszufertigen und die daraus folgenden Erkenntnisse im interdisziplinären Kontext verständlich auszulegen. Er/sie ist in der Lage die Ergebnisse seiner/ihrer wissenschaftlichen Arbeit einer Gruppe internationaler Spezialisten vorzustellen und sie zu verteidigen.
