A final grade will be determined by: 1) Regular attendance and active participation on class discussions (30%) 2) A 20-30 minute presentation of required and suggested literature for a given week (30%) 3) A short (approximately 2000 words) argumentative paper on one of the topics of the course (40%) (In case there will be more students than available presentations, the remaining students will write a 4000 word essay worth 70% of the grade) |
