Animal functional anatomy, physiology, ecology and ethology in various types of biotopes and microhabitats, their adaptations for the extreme environments (locomotion, nutrition, excretion, respiration, sensory ecology, communication, reproduction, ontogeny, resting stages). Anthropogenic influences and animal responses. Interactions with microorganisms. Differences in their animal communities between the major types of biotopes.
Lectures are combined with the discussion with students based on their experience in theses performances.
