Kurz anglického jazyka Angličtina B1. E-Learning je jednosemestrálním kurzem, který je rozdělený do 13 bloků
kopírujících 13 týdnů semestru. Je určen primárně pro studenty se speciálními vzdělávacími potřebami, kteří si
potřebují doplnit a/nebo ujasnit znalosti z nižších úrovní angličtiny (B1), co se oblasti gramatiky a slovní zásoby
týče. Volně navazuje na kurzy Angličtina A1 (pouze v českém jazyce) a Angličtina A2 (v českém jazyce s
anglickými překlady). Absolvování těchto kurzů není podmínkou pro zápis do tohoto kurzu (B1), přesto by studenti,
kteří mají o kurz zájem, měli mít úroveň svých znalostí alespoň na úrovni A1 + A2.
V rámci kurzu jsou nabízeny monžosti pravidelných online konzultací v pondělí v 9:10 - 10:40, které jsou společné
pro všechny úrovně E-Learningových kurzů. Individuálně je samozřejmě možné konzultovat přes email, případně
se domluvit na online/prezenčních konzultacích.
Konzultace nejsou povinné, ale studentům a studentkám se doporučuje, aby konzultací využívali.
Program kurzu:
Procvičování jazykových dovedností (čtení, poslech a psaní, které je realizováno v e-learningové části kurzu
prostřednictvím Moodle). Na základě textů a poslechů na úrovni B1 se bude procvičovat gramatika a slovní
zásoba. Výslovnost a mluvení pak v rámci dobrovolných konzultací. Jednotlivé týdny odpovídají lekcím z učebnice
Navigate B1 (viz níže).
Součástí kurzu je gramatická příručka v českém jazyce a slovníček, jehož obsahem je konkrétní slovní zásoba
objevující se v rámci jednotlivých lekcí/sekcí.
Každá lekce obsahuje úvodní video v angličtině zaměřené na gramatiku, případně slovní zásobu dané lekce, na
které navazuje prezentace s audiovýkladem dané gramatiky. Součástí lekcí jsou i jednoduché rady a tipy pro učení
se jazyku, odkazy na materiály na internetu apod.
Sekce „University Life“ se zaměřuje na specifika anglického jazyka používaného v akademickém prostředí, které
je možné využít na úrovni B1, rozšířené o témata z profesního života.
K zjištení své úrovně anglického jazyka mohou studenti a studentky využít testu vytvořeného Britskou radou.

Před zahájením výuky obdrží zapsaní studenti email s podrobnými informacemi k zápisu do Moodle a k připojení

Splnění veškerých povinností v Moodle. Pokud jsou v kurzu aktivity, které není třeba splnit pro úspěšné zakončení kurzu, je toto specifikováno. Na konci kurzu je závěrečný test, který je též povinný.

Metody výuky

Kurz předpokládá samostatnou práci účastníků a průběžnou práci na úkolech on-line.
V rámci kurzu je nabízena možnost dobrovolných konzultací, které nejsou povinné, přesto je dobré se jich účastnit.
Případné další konzultace jsou možné po dohodě s vyučujcí - marketa.doubravova@ff.cuni.cz
E-Learningová forma výuky s sebou přináší značné výhody, především výhody spojené s prací s časem. Studenti si mohou zvolit jak dlouho a kdy se budou dané kapitole věnovat, případně mohou svou práci zrychlit, zpomalit, dle aktuálních okolností. Mohou se k již probranému vracet. Důraz na autonomii studenta je značný. Z druhé strany pohledu může být toto ale naopak velkou nevýhodou, je proto třeba nastavit si jasná pravidla a ta dodržovat.

English B1+. E-Learning – Syllabus
Annotation of the course:
The course English B1+. E-Learning English Language Course is a one-semester course divided into 13 blocks copying 13 weeks of the semester. It is designed for the students with special education needs who need to complement, and/or clarify their knowledge at lower levels of English (B1+) within the grammar or vocabulary fields and loosely follow the previous courses English A1 (in Czech only), English A2 and English B1 (combination of Czech and English translations). The completion of these three courses (A1, A2 and B1) is not required for the enrolment into this course (B1+), but still students interested in this course should have the knowledge of at least three levels (A1, A2 and B1).
There are regular online consultation hours scheduled for Mondays 9:10 – 10:40 am. These are voluntary. These online consultation hours will be realized via Zoom. Consultation is also possible via emails, and if needed individual consultation can be also scheduled. However, as these are limited, try to use the regular ones or emails.

Tento kurz anglického jazyka English B1+. E-Learning je jednosemestrálním kurzem, který je rozdělený do 13 bloků kopírujících 13 týdnů semestru. Je určen primárně pro studenty se speciálními vzdělávacími potřebami, kteří si potřebují doplnit a/nebo ujasnit znalosti z nižších úrovní angličtiny (B1+), co se oblasti gramatiky a slovní zásoby týče. Volně navazuje na kuzry Angličitna A1 (pouze v českém jazyce), Angličtna A2 a English B1 (v českém jazyce s anglickými překlady). Absolvování těchto kurzů není podmínkou pro zápis do tohoto kurzu (B1+), přesto by studenti, kteří mají o kurz zájem, měli mít úroveň svých znalostí alespoň na úrovni A1, A2 a případně B1.
V rámci kurzu jsou nabízeny pravidelné online konzultace, které jsou vypsány v pondělky 9:10 – 10:40. Tyto konzultace jsou dobrovolné. z těchto setkání, které se odehrají v prostředí Zoom. Další konzultace jsou možné prostřednictvím emailové komunikace, v případě potřeby je možné domuvit individuální konzultace. Tyto jsou však omezené, proto se snažte využívat ty pravidelné a emailovou komunikaci.
The programme of the course: Practising the language skills (reading, listening and writing in the e-learning part of the course – realized via Moodle). Grammar and vocabulary will be practised on the texts and listening at the B1+ level. The pronunciation and speaking skills can be focused on during the online consultation hours. The individual weeks follow the units of the textbook Navigate Intermediate B1+ (see below).

Grammar Guidebook:
- This grammar guidebook is meant for Czech (Slovak) students as the explanations are given in Czech.
Dictionary:
- Vocabulary (translations into Czech) taken from the textbook and/or from the additional materials; relevant for the topics of the individual lessons.
- There are also dictionaries from the previous courses A1, A2 and B1 for extra vocabulary studying.
There are links to the grammar guidebook and dictionary straight from the individual blocks which should help the students who do not need to look up the relevant chapters of these two or to look for different sources. There are also links to useful websites or e.g. YouTube with grammar and vocabulary relevant for the course which can be either obligatory and necessary for the completion of the course, or voluntary for extra practice.
Week 1
Introductory Lesson
- It would be good if the students attended the online consultation hours on Monday at 9:10 via Zoom
- Introduction of the course: content and organization, orientation in the course – How to work with this e-learning course
- Video for those students who were unable to visit the first consultation hours.
- Revision test at the level B1 (testing the issues dealt with in the course – English B1. E-Learning) – for the students to see what issues they should know and/or revise
- Introductory test at the level B1+ (testing the issues dealt with in this course – English B1+. E-Learning) – for the students to see if there is already something they know. There will also be a similar test at the end of the course – Progress test for the students to see if they have made any progress.

Unit 1 – Trends; and Unit 2 – What a Story!
