Reflective didactic seminar supporting teaching practice a at lower-secondary school is directly connected with the course Teaching practice I., i.e. with the preparation, realization and reflections of individual performances of students in the role of the teacher in a classroom setting at a lower-secondary school. The main focus is on the ability of transferring the gained knowledge into practice; specifically in the area of planning, realizing of teaching, theory-based reflection of one’s own teaching and identification of one’s own strengths and areas in need of development. Students will be focusing on relevant curricular documents (framework educational program and school educational program of the relevant school), students will also observe and “absorb” the culture and climate of the given school. Within the course the students will cooperate with the university teacher, peers and also their teaching practice mentor. The aim of the course is to give students the opportunity to develop the skill of reflection of their own teaching experience and to further develop the ability to analyze the gained experience.
