This seminar follows the lecture of Historical Comparative Sociology. It is based first of all on readings of primary and secondary scientific works in the field. Regular reading is crucial for success in the seminar, which develops and discusses selected topics which are taught in the lectures. It deepens students’ knowledge of key scholars in the field, as well as its key concepts and theories. The seminar requires active participation and it is expected that the students will prepare their own presentations and papers based on the literature. At the end of the semester, there will be a short test covering all the topics and issues discussed and the literature read.
