Předběžná náplň práce v anglickém jazyce
Recent development of world measures of poverty and other indices suggests favorable economical and human development in Peru. The poverty is lowering and the Human development index is rising. The trigger of such path is supposed to be the export expansion set up in 2006 when Alan García Pérez accede the presidential office and introduces economical reforms in some sectors of the economy, especially when he liberalizes the trade.

Even when the economy is growing I suggest the impact of such performance is unequal among individuals, especially for those who do not work in reformed sectors, and the extreme poverty is not reduced. Furthermore, the country still has high levels on analphabetism, maternal mortality or drug trafficking. In the thesis I want to compare the welfare before and after the year 2006. The field of interest is whether the income is increasing and what is influencing it. Other issue is the distribution of income and the extent of the inequality before and after 2006.

For that purpose I will be using extensive data source elaborated by Peruvian INEI (National Institution of Statistics and Informatics) comprising detailed information about households, their incomes and expenses.

The thesis leads to the comprehension of how the country of the third world that used to be one of the poorest and the most dangerous in Latin America is promoting the growth and what benefits the individuals have from such performance of the economy.
