The EU has established the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area (DCFTA) with three Eastern Partnership (EaP) countries, Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine. The aim of the DCFTAs is to enhance the trade between the EU and three EaP countries. First, we will estimate if the DCFTAs have promoted the trade between them, and we will also examine if the DCFTAs have affected their trade with other countries. In this case, three DCFTAs will be assessed as a whole. Second, we will analyze and compare the effects of each DCFTA. Third, we will examine the effects of three DCFTAs on the EU member states located in Central Europe. Geographically, these EU countries are near three EaP countries, and from an economic perspective, they are important trading partners to them. Therefore, the countries of Central Europe are selected for the case studies. Besides, as the DCFTAs are provisional applied at first and fully implemented later, we will also take it into consideration and analyze the difference between provisional implementation and full implementation.
