Description
The Department of Children and Adolescents provides general, specialized, and in some areas, superspecialized care for patients from newborn age to 19 years old, and in exceptional cases, even longer. It also includes a newborn screening laboratory with nationwide significance. The department operates within the framework of the Diabetes Center and the Obesity Center at UHKV, and is a center for growth hormone treatment.
