Physical chemistry is is focused on solving chemistry related problems using physical methods and approaches. The study programme allows students to become professionals with knowledge and skills in the field of theoretical and experimental physical chemistry and with insight into relations of physical chemistry to other disciplines like biochemistry or material science.

Graduate profile for the public:
The graduate in this study programme is a professional with deep knowledge of physical chemistry and with the ability of solve physical chemistry-related problems. The branches of this SP allow him/her to focus further on experimental physical chemistry, on modelling of chemical properties using computational methods or on biophysical chemistry. He/she will find position in scientific and R&D teams both in the academia and in the private sector.
