A task of the new Study Programme is to meet the demand for an education of fitness coaches who do not have ambitions to become a physical education teachers. All the students in the Programme of Physical Education and Sport have been educated and prepared so far for the career of physical education teachers.

Graduate profile for the public:
The aim of the Programme is to prepare experts in the area of a fitness training with coaching and methodical, psychological, social, diagnostic and intervention competences in all levels of sport such as a professional one, sport for everyone and health reason physical activity programmes. The graduate has a theoretical knowledge to design suitable fitness programmes. He or she is able to apply the knowledge when preparing and performing the programme for a specific group of population using his or her didactic intervention. The graduate in the area of Fitness Coach is an expert in preparing fitness and physical activity programmes for different groups of population as well as in putting the programmes into practice.
