Graduate profile for the public:
Graduates from the doctoral programme in Film Studies command a broad cultural and historical knowledge, are well acquainted with the theory and history of both Czech and international audiovisual culture and are well versed in at least two foreign languages. Equipped with excellent writing skills, they have experience with authoring academic texts of various genres. Graduates are familiar with the international academic community and have participated in both domestic and international conferences. Fully prepared for independent research and teaching, they are highly competent in a variety of academic activities (editorial work for journals and publishers, project management for film festivals and art cinemas, in addition to flexibility in other cultural ventures).
