The Study Programme (SP) Gynecology and Obstetrics, Pediatrics is academically aimed SP. SP Gynecology and Obstetrics, Pediatrics focuses on individual disciplines within subspecialties of Gynecology and Obstetrics and Pediatrics, but not separately, striving to link individual scientific disciplines and provide the graduate with broad and comprehensive interdisciplinary skills and knowledge. The aim of the study is to asess comprehensively individual specialties and the connections of individual subspecialties It is also an integral part of the profile of a graduate in the fields of Gynecology and Obstetrics and Pediatrics to transmit the results of scientific work directly to clinical practice or to specific outcomes of applied research. PhD graduate is able to publish the conclusions of the particular research in scientific journals, to present them to an expert audience and the broad public and also to translate them to clinical praxis or other fields of applied research.

Graduate profile for the public:
Gynecology and Obstetrics and Pediatrics are among of basic medical disciplines. The range and variability of both fields is very demanding, however, it allows a wide selection of topics from basic, applied and clinical research in cooperation with a number of scientific disciplines. The graduates acquired scientific skills by performing the clinical as well as experimental research work in the course of the study. They learned the basics of study design, data collection and analysis including statistical evaluation. They are aware of the possibilities of funding of their research. They are able to present their data in scientific meetings, publish in research journals and transfer their results into clinical practice. The results of the research should have a direct impact on the clinical practice, leading to novel therapeutic methods and procedures.
