The program is designed for high school graduates who meet the requirements for a bachelor's degree at the university. The program is taught in English.
The bachelor's degree program "Sustainability in Marketing and Media Communication" is an interdisciplinary program that combines insights from communication, media studies and marketing with concepts of sustainability.
The new and unique feature of this program is the implementation of sustainability principles in marketing and media communication. Students learn about sustainability issues in media communication and apply sustainability principles in international and media environments.
The general principles of sustainability are specified in the individual courses with regard to media communication. In addition, the program promotes the practical application of theoretical knowledge through internships, excursions, and practical projects on various topics of media communication and sustainable development.

Graduate profile for the public:
Graduates of the “Sustainability in Marketing and Media Communication” program acquire skills in communicating sustainability issues, designing and presenting them in the media space. They are also familiar with intercultural communication strategies and can apply them in various international work contexts. They are able to apply the principle of sustainability to the communication process itself.
Graduates can deal consciously and critically with media products, especially in the area of social media. They can critically evaluate media messages and assess the environmental effects of media and marketing campaigns.
Graduates are able to create their own messages and contributions that are consistent with the principles of sustainable communication and therefore have no negative impact on the environment.
