The aim of the master's program of Teacher Education of Choral Singing is to equip the graduate with extensive knowledge and practical skills in the professional disciplines of the qualification subject so that he/she is able to apply them together with pedagogical-psychological interconnection of all components at the theoretical and practical level. The aim of the study is to educate choirmaster working in school facilities such as elementary schools, elementary art schools, secondary schools (mainly grammar schools, secondary pedagogical schools and pedagogical lyceum), as well as choirmaster of amateur, semi-professional and professional choral ensembles working at various cultural institutions and churches or a specialist in children's and youth facilities or adult culture and education who is able to educate in the light of current innovative trends.
The course is based on subjects related to the development of conducting skills in the broadest sense of the term. Great emphasis is placed on the didactic level of the preparation of the future choirmaster, the didactics of choral singing, the methodology of choir singing, the methodology of choral composition training, the methodology of music popularization and organizational aspects of choral team work and choral management. Within the block of compulsory elective courses the student can focus on acquiring knowledge and practical skills needed for the work of regenschori, or for managing vocal-instrumental ensembles, or he can further develop his instrumental skills. The student can also profile towards the theory of performing arts. Subjects of this program are also taught in English.

Graduate profile for the public:
The graduate is qualified for teaching in school facilities of types: elementary school, elementary music school, secondary schools (grammar school, secondary pedagogical school, pedagogical lyceum). He/She can be applied in the state administration or in the private sphere, in facilities for the leisure activities of children and youth, in churches or in the area of culture, education and leisure activities of adults. The graduate is equipped with knowledge and practical skills in the subject-specific folder. He/she is able to apply the acquired knowledge together with pedagogical-psychological and didactic disciplines for music-pedagogical practice in the mutual interconnection of all the components at the theoretical and practical level (the specification of the components is given in the characteristics of the field). He is fully qualified as a choirmaster in educational, artistic, organizational or social fields.
