The aim of the study programme Choral Singing for Teacher Education is to equip the student system of basic theoretical knowledge and practical skills in conducting professional disciplines, especially in conducting technique, analysis of choral scores in terms of its interpretive rendition and instrumental activities. Priorities field lie further develop analytical abilities musical ear, voice training, training in prompt reading and interpretation of the piano choral scores. The aim of the study is the theoretical preparation of the future choirmaster, which should continue in the follow-up master's study program Teacher Education of Choral Singing. Subjects of this program are also taught in English.

A graduate of the study program Choral Singing for Teacher Education has basic theoretical and historical knowledge of general, professional and special character. His overall musical skills include reaching the appropriate level in auditory analytical and singing disciplines, specific choir mastering skills, instrumental and compositional skills.
The graduate of the field can continue in the subsequent master's program Teacher Education of Choral Singing. However, it can also be used in practice, eg as an assistant to the choirmaster in churches of various types, as an organizational worker or as an assistant in children's and youth hobby, educational, cultural and adult education facilities.
