Study programmes

The study programme provides the opportunity to gain theoretical knowledge, practical skills and methodological proficiency in the subject Theology, as well as related religious, ethical and civil attitudes. The study plan covers mainly the areas of Biblical Studies, Fundamental and Dogmatic Theology, Moral Theology. The programme consists of a significant number of philosophical and historical subjects. The study is concluded by the final state exam, which has four parts: Biblical Studies, Fundamental and Dogmatic Theology, Moral and Spiritual Theology, Examination of the BA Thesis. Through this study programme, the Catholic Church implements its right to teach and educate its ordained and lay workers (§ 6 par. 3 letter a) of Act No. 3/2002 Coll., On Freedom of Religious Confession and the Position of Churches and Religious Societies).
