The Medicinal Plants and Nutraceuticals study program is aimed at acquiring knowledge and skills regarding all aspects of the use of medicinal plants and nutraceuticals. With regard to the increasing interest of professionals as well as the lay public in medicinal plants and nutraceuticals, this program is prepared to meet the requirements of those interested in general education in this area. This is an original study program covering complex issues involving medicinal plants and nutraceuticals.

Graduate profile for the public:
Graduates are prepared as bachelors with a broad base in the field of medicinal plants and nutraceuticals. This basis is knowledge of botany, phytochemistry, analytical and instrumental chemistry, and the use of medicinal plants and nutraceuticals in practice. The graduate is able to use devices that are integral to the identification of medicinal plants, the quality control of medicinal plants, and the preparation and production of products from these plants, including nutraceuticals.
