The three-year bachelor in Liberal Arts and Humanities is an interdisciplinary study programme that encompasses fields of philosophy, history, and cultural and social anthropology. The program's characteristic feature is a widely opened curriculum that allows each student to pursue her or his unique abilities and interests. The liberal openness is accompanied by a structure of a few mandatory courses in humanities and social sciences and comprehensive exams in history, philosophy, and social sciences. In the final year of the study, a student will write a thesis in the chosen field of her or his specialization.

The graduate of the Liberal Arts and Humanities will acquire knowledge in many disciplines of the humanities (philosophy, sociology, psychology, history, anthropology, and economics). During the studies, great emphasis is put, above all, on self-reliance and responsibility training and on individual creative work, which enables students developing further effective education and flexibility under the changing conditions modern societies. Graduates will apply wherever they choose to do so: in private, state and international organizations and companies, in institutions that develop culture and education, in the media, etc. Those who want to study further will be ready to follow up with their studies in the field of their choice.
