The Bachelor’s study programme in Aesthetics provides students with a grounding in the history and the present of this traditional discipline, teaching them to apply the acquired knowledge to current issues of the contemporary world.

Graduate profile for the public:
Graduates from the bachelor’s degree programme will have acquired a comprehensive knowledge of philosophical aesthetics, including sociological and psychological aspects of culture and arts, an overview of individual art forms and their respective theories (music, theatre, film, literature, visual arts), as well as of contemporary categories of the philosophy of art, non-artistic aesthetics and aesthetics of nature. Graduates’ expertise covers also a basic knowledge of the history of aesthetics and its conceptual development.
