SP characteristics

The Bachelor’s study programme Radiology Assistant provides professional competence to practise the health care profession of Radiology Assistant. After successfully completing his/her studies the graduate is able to provide:
Radiological imaging and quantitative procedures;
Therapeutic applications of ionizing radiation;
Specific nursing care provided in connection with radiological procedures;
Activities related to radiation protection.
Radiology assistants are also prepared for cooperation with the doctor in diagnostic and medical care.

Graduate profile for the public:
The graduate of the Bachelor’s study programme Radiology Assistant has acquired professional competence to practise the health care profession of Radiology Assistant. The graduate is competent to provide radiological imaging and quantitative procedures, therapeutic applications of ionizing radiation, specific nursing care provided in connection with radiological procedures and activities related to radiation protection. The graduate, in cooperation with the doctor, can participate in diagnostic and medical care. Based on the permission of the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic, Ref .: MZDR12753/2022-6/ONP, dated 01.06. 2022 the graduate of the Bachelor’s study programme Radiology Assistant is entitled to practise the health care profession of Radiology Assistant.
