The Study Programme combines Physical Education with Military Physical Education. The graduates are educated in the branch of Kinanthropology which they use as teachers in the area of Military Education and physical education in schools. The Programme is based on a wide range of scientific branches, focused on physical education and sport, which are necessary for the teachers' qualification. This branch includes the areas of Humanities (philosophy and history of the sport), Social Sciences (psychology, sociology, pedagogy of sport), Biomedicine (anatomy, biomechanics, physiology in stress conditions), interdisciplinary (anthropometrics, fitness and healthy lifestyle, nutrition). In addition to that, there are also the didactics of sport as well as the basic didactics of the main sports activities and the didactics of military physical education. The students participate to a certain extent in scientific and didactic activities within the Faculty as well as within the units of the Ministry of Defence.

The graduate of the Programme Teacher Education of Physical Education for Upper Secondary Schools gains the complete both general and specific knowledge and skills in the area of pedagogy, didactics, psychology, didactics of particular sport activities which are the basic aspects of the graduates' future professional career as well as personal professional perspective in the academic, professional or all life education.
Teacher Education of Physical Education and Military Physical Education for Upper Secondary School graduates have prerequisites for their work in all scale of professional teaching in the area of physical education for the officer as well as the professional sport activities of the Ministry of Defence of the Czech Republic. The graduates are also qualified for the specialized positions of physical education teachers in the Ministry of Defence resort. The graduates are fully qualified to teach physical education in upper secondary schools. The gained expert skills brings the graduates the possibilities to continue their education in the postgradual forms of studies including the doctoral one.
