The study of sports management provides students with knowledge and skills related to economics, management, marketing and law in the sports environment. The program helps students gain an overview of the business side of sports organizations including the latest trends and technologies. In addition to theoretical concepts, students develop a wide range of practical knowledge, such as how to organize major sporting events, strategic planning, financial security and management of sports organizations. Graduates gain qualifications for all managerial levels in the sports environment - from operational to top management.

Future graduates learn how to ensure the financial stability and growth of a sports facility, and how to run a sport club or a marketing department for sports companies. They will be able to prepare and put to practice sport events including their financial cover. The graduates of the Bachelor Study Programme can work in any sports environment where business insights are needed. They might manage the marketing department, oversee the organisation of events, or take charge of professional teams. Some of the most popular jobs are athletic director, contract negotiation manager, event coordinator, facilities manager, marketing coordinator, sports agent, etc.
