Graduate profile for the public:
Graduates of the program are prepared to productively apply theoretical knowledge of the field in its broad meaning (including general political science, comparative politics, international relations or political philosophy). This theoretical competence is complemented by analytical skills honed during obligatory quantitative and qualitative methodological courses. The analytical skills ensure that our graduates will be able to engage with a variety of practical as well as theoretical puzzles through empirical analysis. The combination of theoretical and analytical competence ensure that students are prepared for further deepening and broadening of their knowledge and skills in a plethora of social science programs at the MA or PhD level.
Above mentioned skills enable students to successfully work in a variety of positions in public administration, private sector or NGO´s. As implicated above, they can advance their theoretical understanding of politics and other social science issues by joining master level programs offered by FSS UK or other Czech or Foreign Universities.
