SP characteristics

Students of the Bachelor Programme aquire both orientation in the history of philosophical thought and the skills needed for this way of thinking (text intepretation, argumentation, concept analysis, philosophical reflexion etc.). The programme also includes introductions to pedagogy, psychology and didactics so as to prepare the students for the follow-up Masters´s Programme Teaching of Philosophy, which is compulsory in order to obtain the full high-school teaching qualification.

Graduate profile for the public:
Graduates are equipped with academic and pedagogical skills required for continuation in the master’s degree course in the teaching of philosophy, or in related subjects. They are acquainted with methods and thought of the philosophical tradition. They have good knowledge of at least one foreign language and basic knowledge of Latin. They can analyse philosophical texts.
