Study programmes

The aim of the study program Teacher Education of Playing Instrument is to equip the student for his future job – instrumental teaching at basic music schools, basic and high schools. The program is divided into two profiling - piano and string instruments. These instruments are also used in the field of Music Education and their teaching at the Faculty of Education has a long tradition. The graduate is fully equipped with competencies in professional, didactic and pedagogical fields as well as in management, organizational, administrative, general education and personal cultivation.The prerequisite for the study is graduation bachelor branch Music Instrument Oriented at Education or a bachelor branch of music academy. The Master's program is followed by a specialized scientific doctoral study in the field of Music Theory and Pedagogy, which makes it possible to obtain a Ph.D. The department also conducts rigorous proceedings with the possibility of obtaining the title of PhDr. Students improve their music and instrumental skills tending to pedagogic a didactic. Contents and goals of this study provide complete music education which is necessary for self artistic pedagogical activities (individual and collective teaching).
