Study programmes

The graduate of the doctoral study branch the Didactics of Czech Language is equipped with theoretical knowledge and research skills in the Czech language didactics discipline. He/she is prepared to work in the scientific research field and to participate on the university students’ education. His/her professional application is potential in universities, scientific-research institutions or in the key specialized positions of lower education level. The graduate profile categories include output knowledge of deepened linguistic base of branch didactics, development tendencies in the mother tongue didactics, contemporary state of scientific knowledge and didactics research methodology; output skills and competencies, esp. deepened ability to work with scientific sources, internalized ethical principles of scientific work, deepening the working habits, ability to identify the didactics’ main problems and solve them by scientific methods, ability to apply theoretical knowledge by scientific investigations‘ construction and organization, ability to publish and to argue on a scientific forum; graduate application on scientific and research and research-pedagogical institutions, as the Czech language didactics’ and their sub-disciplines’ teachers, as authors and curricula and education materials’ assessors etc.
