Graduate profile for the public:
The graduate of the Bachelor’s programme in Hebrew and Jewish Studies is a specialist on Jewish culture with good speaking and writing skills in Hebrew (level B1/Ramah 4). He/she can read simple texts in Modern Hebrew and is familiar with the grammar of Biblical Hebrew. He/she is acquainted with essential secondary literature on the subject and can work with relevant reference tools, including electronic resources, in two world languages, one of which is English. He/she has acquired good general knowledge of Jewish history and is well grounded in Jewish culture. He/she understands the current geopolitical situation in the Middle East, with a particular emphasis on the State of Israel.
