The programme will provide graduates with a grounding in the Czech language and Czech culture that will enable them to pursue careers in the Czech Republic or to work from abroad for Czech businesses and state institutions.

Graduate profile for the public:
Graduates have speaking and writing skills in the Czech language at the C1 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. They can use the language effectively for social, academic and professional purposes. They have a grounding in Czech history, literature and culture and can apply the facts critically according to the situation. They were trained for work with philological instruments and aids in printed and electronic form. They have obtained language skills enabling them to proceed to Master’s degree programmes at Czech institutions of higher education. They can seek careers especially in tourism, cultural institutions, state administration, international institutions, Czech Cultural Centres, non-diplomatic positions at Czech embassies abroad and embassies of their countries of origin located in the Czech Republic.
