SP characteristics

The two years Masters program Theology - spirituality - ethics offers advanced study for graduates of Bc. programs in theology and other humanities. It helps students to understand historical and cultural contexts, in which theological responses to existential questions were formulated. The students will aquire advanced knowledge and understanding of biblical and theological appraaches to existencial questions. The main focus of the program is understanding the phenomena of spiritual life (spirituality), moral values and social responsibility (ethics) and selected religious movements and traditions (religious studies), including mutual inerreligious understanding and interfaith dialogue in contemporary Europe.

Graduates are able to interpret and analyze general religious phenomena, especially in the area of various Christian traditions and they are qualified for academic discussions of related questions. They understand the nature and characteristics of particular Christian and other religious movements, they are able to analyze and evaluate religious attitudes in their ethical impact on society.
