Study program Theology of Christian Traditions provides to its graduates basic education in theology. All parts of the program take into account and compare approaches of the three major Christian traditions: Protestant, Catholic and Orthodox.
Program aims at University students and other applicants who intend to add to their previously gained knowledge and skills in other field of study also theology with an ecumenical orientation. The study brings together (reflection of) practical spiritual life and extensive knowledge of the Scriptures and history of the Christian thought. Moreover, it is supplemented with psychological and sociological contexts of spiritual life. Students become familiar both with the classical texts of Christian tradition and modern trends in theology.

Graduates of the study program are able to read critically the biblical and theological texts and to interpret them in a creative way.
They have the knowledge of theology and spirituality of the major Christian and non-Christian faith traditions. They are well versed in the topics and models of ecumenism.
They are capable of participating at the practice of Christian communities. They are trained in the fields, such as pastoral work, liturgy, mission etc.
They are competent to engage in public and professional discussions and bring well informed theological insights and inspirations.
They show respect to other Christian and faith traditions, they strive for sensitive understanding and for making ecumenical and interfaiths dialogue possible.
They are self-critical regarding one´s own attitudes and values. They are capable of self-reflection.
