The program lasts three years and has a combined form of instruction. Field of study is designed as a profession-oriented teacher training that qualifies graduates for the job of practical training teacher and vocational training. The core of study are educational and psychological subjects, complemented by courses in applied biology, environmental sciences and healthy lifestyle. Aim of the study is to prepare graduates to work as teachers especially in the pedagogical-psychological field and to cultivate their communication and social skills as well as to motivate them for lifelong learning in the field. Particular attention is paid to modern didactic and information technologies and their use in teaching. All courses emphasise close links between lecturing and teaching practice as well as on professional ethics of teachers as reflective practitioners.

Graduate profile for the public:
The graduates will gain complex education in the field of pedagogical-psychological sciences and a broad understanding of related subjects. They will be equipped with necessary competencies needed for vocational education and training; they will be able to:
- transform knowledge from their field of interest into the curriculum of respected school subject,
- project, conduct and evaluate practical education instruction and professional training in cooperation with other pedagogues and social partners from respective educational institution,
- accurately assess learners´ educational needs and reflect broader curriculum in their classroom instruction,
- communicate adequately with other participants in educational process, mainly with the pupils
- intervene in case an individual or a group is in danger, give emergency first aid, act effectively in case of unusual situations, follow safety instructions,
- cooperate with pupils and other educators to build positive school climate.
