SP characteristics

The aim of the study programme is to provide and develop necessary knowledge and skills needed when working with children and youth in school institutions which provide education outside classroom instruction and clubs.
The programme should offer orientation in all sorts of activities of interest so that the educator could motivate children to do various activities. The programme aims to prepare graduates for complex pedagogical work focused on complex, but also specific, personality development in children and youth to deepen their interests, knowledge and creativity skills; all in accordance with the school curricula of respected school or educational institution.
The graduates will be ready to organise and conduct pedagogical work with educational group in full extent. They will be able to use appropriate educational methods in their work in various school environments; for work with groups with positive climate but also for work with groups with educational problems.

Graduate profile for the public:
The graduates will gain theoretical knowledge and practical competences in the field of pedagogical, psychological and special needs pedagogy which will allow them conduct direct educational activities when working with children and youth using necessary expertise. Gained education will serve as a solid base for lifelong learning and further career development. Graduates will be able to access educational needs of the children and youth in their care and will be able to plan educational activities in free time of children and youth in their care. During the study programme knowledge, skills and also attitudes in students will be deepened. The graduates will be able to argument in favour of pedagogical influence on free time activities and education outside classroom instruction. They will also be encouraged to further educate themselves in their field of interest.
