SP characteristics

The Master's degree in Sociology further develops the knowledge of graduates of bachelor's programs in social sciences to shape their well-applicable professional profile. At the end of their studies, they can use current theoretical and methodological approaches of sociology and social anthropology, identifying and addressing the challenges of a rapidly changing society. In a word, they have advanced analytical competence and thinking. It is, therefore, no problem for them to find employment in promising positions not only in areas related to social research but also in the private sector and public administration or to start their own “start-up”. Students can choose one of three specializations according to their interest and specialization: Sociology, Public and Politics; Social Anthropology and Qualitative Research; or Applied Sociological Research and Its Methodology.
