Graduates of the program Corporate Strategy and Finance in Europe are qualified to undertake advanced-level quantitative analysis and modeling in Economics and Finance, in particular in the field of corporate finance. The curriculum covers foundational courses in Economics and Finance, including significant training in Econometrics. Graduates are familiar with the advanced knowledge of corporate strategy and finance and advanced quantitative skills, as well as detailed knowledge about particular topics relevant to corporations such as financial markets, banking, corporate finance and strategy, and international trade and finance. The graduates are typically working as economists and financial economists in corporations, analysts, or consultants.
The students take the first year at Charles University and second year at Université de Strasbourg. In the first year, the students focus mainly on foundational courses (Advanced Microeconomics, Advanced Macroeconomics, Advanced Econometrics). In the second year, the students study more applied courses (Corporate Finance, Business Law and Governance, International Banking and Finance, European Project Finance). In addition, the students take electives from both economics and finance.
